Crystal Cove is a sweet, playful, 8-pound puppy. She is approximately 10-weeks-old (as of November 9, 2017) and likely a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Her foster parents think she has some Cattle Dog in her as well. She is working on basic commands, house training, and crate training. After a little whining, Crystal Cove settles down in the crate. Crystal is definitely all puppy, and will need someone with the patience and desire to train, socialize, and raise her into the wonderful dog she will become.
Crystal Cove knows how to play fetch already! She almost always brings the ball back (sometimes, you just have to keep it for yourself). When not playing with her toys, Crystal cove likes to nap—in her bed or on your lap, she isn’t picky. Crystal has a healthy respect for the resident cat in the family. She is desperate to play, but has learned that the cat isn’t up for that. At this point, Crystal is not a good fit for a household with children under 13-years-old. She would love a dog brother or sister but could probably be an only dog as long as she got extra socialization and play time with other dogs.
