Lincoln is a long, lean, love machine. He's happy to do anything that involves attention from his people--being brushed, fetching his toy, or just hanging out nearby as you go about your business.
He loves going for walks and runs, which also help to tire him out so that he can relax at home afterwards. He can be a little vocal at times when left alone or when he thinks he hears something suspicious outside, so an apartment might not be the best place for him. Other than that, he's very easy in the house: solidly housebroken, does well in a crate, and hasn't shown any bad habits (impressive for a young dog!). He has a lovely, soft, silky, medium-length coat--think something between Lassie and a labrador. Regular brushing sessions both help that fur from ending up where it doesn't belong, and are a great way to bond with him.
Lincoln likes meeting new dogs and people. He does get a little excited when meeting dogs, especially close to home, but seems to do well with them after introductions have been taken care of. He loves to play with either dogs or people, once he's had a chance to warm up.
If you're looking for a dog that is beautiful, affectionate, playful, smart, and sensitive without being overly timid, then Lincoln might just be the perfect companion for you.
